Dropped wallet in apartment corridor?

I dropped my wallet in the hall outside my apartment and one of the neighbors turned it in to the front office, left a note on my door saying they had turned it in when I got home. I was gone for four hours. Should I be concerned? The wallet had everything from I.D. to Insurance cards to Medical I.D. for me and my kids and spare keys to the car, apartment and mailbox. I don't know the neighbors well although they seem very nice. and the office staff seem to be decent people. I haven't considered changing locks or getting new I.D. etc because I have a general trust in the good of people. What would you do?
