Wii console say the Wii sports game could not be read?

Every time i try to play the Wii sports game it will start and then after abut 20 seconds it will say " THE WII SPORTS GAME COULD NOT BE READ. I don't have receipt but it only came out in 2007 so i can't be over 3 years old, will they return it.
