Who wrote the song "why?" as heard on Sirius Coffeehouse?

I'm looking for a song i heard on Sirius coffeehouse named "Why?" It had lyrics in it like why are there missiles called peacekeepers and why are there some starving. It also said things like how all these questions are going to have to be answered soon. I am looking for who wrote it. I believe it was a guy who sang it if that helps.
