Need recipe for chocolate peanut er ?

I need an EASY recipe for making chocolate covered peanut er without using a double boiler. Do all the recipes call for rice krispies?? I've never made them before, but I have had them and I don't recall them having rice krispies in them. But all the recipes I've found call for that.
