What is(or was) wrong with me?

It started out as a severe sore throat and slight cough so, I went to the dr. Sat. who said it was just a minor upper resp. infection and prescribed amoxicillin. That night I felt very nauesus and threw up a few times that night and had a sevre cough. I took some Codal that night to help the cough and help me sleep and that morning I took Phenegren(sp?) for the nausea. The following day I was very congested and coughing up mucus and nauesaus and that night/early morning I threw up like 3 x's within 6 hrs, I think. That night I had a temp. of 101.2. I took tylenol to break the fever. The next morning my temp. was back to normal but, later that evening it was back up to 99.2 so, again, I took tylenol. I was still very congested, had a bad cough, and just felt awful. I also had NO appitite. I was hungry but, it was like I just couldn't eat. Today I have an appitite and have been up and about but, feel light headed and weak. Also, my ears feel full of fluid. What was or is wrong with me?
